Take a picture of your computer with it displaying the assembler bbs or main page.

The prize is a USB thumbdrive loaded with custom wallpaper
    just for the winner.

    Contest ends March 16th.

the mda compact (as they call it here) is really cool. the one on the picture is a demo unit from t-mobile. i can only use it for programming, since it must not get any scratches and stuff, so i dont have day to day hands-on experience with it, but since it has the same features as current pocketpc models, only with a screen 30% smaller, yet having the 240x320 resolution, i really like it. for a mobile phone it feels a bit too heavy for me (it is fine if you are used to carrying pockepc devices, but if you are used to mobiles at <100g, it feels a bit heavy.) ...

i ordered the smaller counterpart, called sda music, which is windows smartphone 2003 based. does not have a touchscreen, but it is still cool for programming stuff, emulators etc.

i guess ill go for a pocketpc based touchscreen phone once they get the weight and height down by 1/3 compared to the mda compact.

Not really. It's more for the "safety" of the CPU. The Athlon XP 3200+ is a hot bitch. With that big fan there the temperature don't pass 49ºC

Why did you mount the flat panel like that? I am curious.

@assembler: retro has the answer... there is no space on the table left... the table is temporary, i had to move out of a big flat last year and now i only have like 15 square meters for all my stuff, so the room is *quite* crowded with stuff. ;)
