Hi all, my first posting!, I've modified the piforcetools to use catagories to sort games. examples: shooters, fighters, puzzles, sports, virtua, drivers, and a favorites catagory for ease of access that will load on bootup of the raspberry. before I post anything I was trying to get a hold of the original creator and make sure its ok to send out or send to the original creator for publishing. As I'm sure for naomi users they would appreciate it. Also if anyone here is on klov, I just joined it with same alias and would like permissions to post there. need a sponsor. about me, I've been programming in c for about 20 years. A friend asked me to look at the code as he wanted a quicker way to get to specific games, originally I just created a favorites menu and let him modify a favoriteslist.py to add remove games he want to load quicker. Then as I'm a programmer I couldn't leave it with just that one choice so I modified the modes and added the list of catagories above. I also thought about giving the option for systems like naomi and naomi2 and the other two. but it was redundant. my friend then gave me his old spare naomi system(he upgraded to naomi2) now I need to get all the hardware to run the thing. Oh yea last thing, since this is my first arcade system I don't know what games are what. is there a link or list of shooters, fighters.... that will help me sort games. thanks again for your time pdm.
