Tried with 2 different N64 power supply (both known good), tried it with the AV cable from my GC (GC checked out so AV cable is good), and tried it with 2 different 4BM pak.

When I thrn on the console, there is nothing on screen. Pikachu's cheeks do light up so it is getting power but it just not showing any sign it is working. So where do I start? Bad video out? Blown fuse? etc?

Silly question: Do you have a game in it? Removed and re-inserted the game? Cleaned the cartridge slot?

N64's do nothing if there's no game inserted, or the game can't be read properly.

If the fuse is blown the system would of popped at some stage, and then wouldn't power up.

Maybe a bad cap somewhere? I don't know much about these things, but from previous problems video problems are usually caps.

Only tried one game, will have to look for other N64 games to rule our bad or very dirty cart.

Update: it works. So I got a bad cart, not a bad console. Fortunately for me Namco Museum 64 is only a few dollars on eBay. Better than a $75 console not working :D

    75$ for a pikachu N64?? Thats not cheap :S

Anyway, you can probably fix Namco Museum by cleaning the connectors. I once had a very dirty Cartridge and used the tissues for cleaning glasses together with a cotton stick. Since the game isn't working anyway, you can use pressure to get it clean.
