    For the Odyssey there is a multicart with pretty much every game on it.
    And for the Vectrex there already is a SD-based Flashcart.

    Reinventing the wheel would be an awful waste of Krikzz talents, I'd say.

    No, I mean any console with a optical disc drive (PS1, TG16 CD, Sega CD, Saturn, etc) wears out if you use it. To prevent this you should never use them. Using CD-Rs does not generally put additional wear and tear on a system unless you use Junk media like store brands such as "Office Depot". If you use quality CD-R media your optical drives will not fail anytime sooner than if you were using all factory pressed discs.

    i'll just say this once as much as we like certain systems he will not make a everdrive that pertains to the lowest common denominator .

    Krikzz, great work :)

    I can't test it because my usb jtag cable is coming from China and it will take a lot to arrive.
    There's another method to do it? Maybe build my own cable using something around?

    I think the flashcart that would make the most sense would be a GameBoy/GameBoy Colour flashcart. There's already one for the Game Gear and I'm sure there's more people who own a GameBoy.

    I agree. I get many e-mails and FaceBook requests for GB/GBC flash cart. I think this would economically be the best EverDrive for Igor to make if he decides to make another one.

    Why get a flash cart for Mega Drive, SNES, N64, Master System or Game Gear when you can play them on emulators on just about anything? :banghead:

    Actually the main reason I would rather not GB but PCE instead is because the GB already has the GB USB Smart Card 64M which is widely available and quite good. EverDrive with a SD card would certainly be better, but the PC-Engine could use a better device much more so. The NeoFlash is overpriced and the flashing software is wonky. Sure it's USB but if there are driver issues like there are it may as well be parallel port like the PCE Pro 32M which I have and the main drawback there is just that I'd rather it was USB or using SD.

    @MottZilla

    Exactly. The USB 64M Flashcart for the GB is quite good and it is really cheap.
    Better to develop for a system with no available flashcart.

    Correct. Although I already own a Neoflash, I would buy a PCE Everdrive in a second.
    I'm very far from satisfied with my PCE Neoflash.

    NES Everdrive! Because the PowerPak is too expensive and adds ugly interference (jailbars) to my NES.
