Sort of like Saturn... The JPN cube looks promising to dig into. Perhaps it's less distraction by expensive or filler games. Any sites to check out? It doesn't appear there's enough demand in the west for dealers to carry a large selection. Or trading communities to have much activity. At the same time that might make good games sell cheap when they do surface, if people aren't very interested I can take advantage of it through patience.
eBay. Not trying to sound smart or anything, but as someone who had a spice import cube with a number of import GC games, that was the only place I could find where the prices were reasonable and the selection was alright. I will warn you though, most games for the cube can be obtained in the US, unlike with the PS2 which had tons of Japanese only titles worth owning. There really weren't that many imports worth importing, and even fewer than were English only friendly. Most of the games I had were also domestic releases.
It's not really the same situation as the Saturn, since most good Cube games were also released in the West. Nintendo Puzzle Collection is a good JPN exclusive, though.
Yeah everything being translated would work in my favor should I pursue this. Great for US buyers, it gave us a very solid library. Disappointing for importers with not much to look forward to after that.
