    What would be an expected price for this? There is one for sale somewhat local to me. Apparently it works, comes with the i/o board, sound board, motherboard, etc, but the owner is trying to part it out (ie: selling control panel+joystick separate, subwoofer separate, etc) and I don't see the screen / marquees / seat for sale - so it would basically be guts and control panel of the cabinet only, rather than a 100% complete and assembled cabinet.

    It also seems to be a single unit rather than the double cabinets? I could give him an offer for everything, but don't exactly know what figure might be reasonable. The value of the parts he's selling, at his different asking prices, is about $700, I think that's a little high... although it is a rare game.

    Just to ask is a stand up cabinet or a dedicated sit cabinet? Because the control panel alone goes for at least $150 the pcb varies in price but I never see it goes for $300 always less than that. If is a single sit dedicated cabinet a $700 is a nice offer for all the cabinet with the complete components, if not the complete cabinet then no. Try to get the game pcb and the control panel with the wires and make your own cab.

    It was a dedicated sit down cab judging from some of the pictures, I haven't contacted to ask if he would sell the cab/seat though, since that isn't specified as part of the sale.

    PCBs = $400
    Control Panel+joystick = $180
    Amp+Sub woofer = $60

    I think I'm going to let this one go. It's a little expensive for my budget even if I can negotiate the entire package down 1 or 2 hundred. Also, after researching, it seems that hikaru components are extremely fragile, and demul is showing some promise in recent months for emulation of this title.

    The seller seems to have it listed on ebay now in the US in case someone reading this wants to investigate.

    Is better to let it go at that price and as you said the Hikaru is fragile and picky. Eventually emulation will keep up.
