I've got an SLS one as well back when they are affordable on ebay paid about 20 bucks ship included. all buttons feel really responsive and easy to press compared to the retrolink branded knockoffs

I have all of them (6 colors), and extras, but not Play SEGA ones.

All you really need is the PCB and micro controller from the Play SEGA ones; if you don't like them, you can swap it for a Victor Saturn shell & buttons, or skeleton one. They're compatible.

I have just recieved my propaganda PlaySega USB Controller for £5.95 delivered on ebay and am very impressed, up until now i have used a dualshock 2 controller with a USB converter for emulators, but the dpad and button layout wasn't perfect, this feels like a OEM Saturn controller as far as i can tell, if a little light, gunna play a few hours of Kega Fusion to get it worn in and then see how it feels.

Had to chime in on this thread (seeing as it came up on a Google search). Absolutely loving this controller. I too paid £5.95 for it on eBay a week ago and I'm really impressed. I'd been using one of those cheap USB controllers you get from PC world etc and it was hopeless, constantly messing up inputs.

With this Play Sega one I've been working my way through the KOF games in Mac Mame and I've loved every minute of it, it's pretty much flawless for the price.

Are there any converters that let you use a saturn pad on the dreamcast?

love the selection of fighters on the DC, but the pad leaves something to be desired and i have a few saturn pads just basically gathering dust

Oh wow, I was a pretty big DC collector for quite a few years and I never came across this, would have loved to have owned one. Are they hard to find?

That pad does look nice, but its abit on the expensive side for me. Converter sounds like it will do the job good enough for me. Thanks anyway :)
