Playing PS2 games off an external HDD

It's easiest/fastest to just have someone with a modded PS2, or exploit, or swapping discs to take a memory card for you and install the exploit. If you don't have it yourself the easiest thing to do is get SwapMagic to boot the independence installer.

Anyway, the PS2 HDLoader is absolutely the way to go no matter what you intention is for using it. Loading games off HD is so much nicer.
