Playstation 1 PS1 Mod Service in UK Needed (Possible Repair)

Hello, All.

I have a Playstation 1 SCPH-9002 that I bought originally in 2000.

I would like to get it chipped to play backups. Does anyone on the forum offer this service in UK?

I searched but came up empty.

The Story

I had it chipped to play backups back in the day. It cost a whopping £5 to have done by someone at my dad's work.

Anyway, the console lasted about two years until I pulled the controller accidentally and jolted the console and the picture and sound disappeared. The console powers on and drive spins up but nothing happens.

Anyway, in my infinite wisdom and stupidity of youth I pulled out the chip believing it might be the culprit and binned it. Regardless it still didn't work. So into the loft it went.

Having just got it down, it's in perfect condition and I would like to get this thing working again.

If it is not easy or worth it to fix, I see that 9002's are really cheap on eBay so I might just buy one and have it shipped to a reputable modder to get chipped. Once in my possession I can then put the chipped and working board into my unit.
