I saw today that you can buy third party network adapters that support sata hdd.
I'm thinking to buy one for my PlayStation 2 Phat SCPH-50004.
From your point of view which is better/compatible with OPL?

    Thanks!

    The official is better, obviously.
Though i have one of those SATA clone and played many games without problems, i had issues of random freezes playing Ico.
This same game never froze using the official adapter.

    I understand...
That's strange because a friend of mine that is a modder told me the clone ones with sata support have better compatibility.
Another thing he said, is much easier to find a sata hdd than ide ones.
    Anyway, thanks for the info.
