    Hi everyone,

Just wanted to get an idea on how much PlayStation 2 Slim TEST kit (PAL) would likely fetch if I put it up for sale.

The item in question is in excellent condition, is boxed with all documentation and has never been used.

I'll post some pictures as soon as I can, together with precise model number and so on, but for now a rough estimate would be much appreciated.

    Cheers!

    Hi PS2Guy,

Thanks very much for the feedback!

Not basing this this on anything particular, but $200usd seems a bit cheaper than I'd expected.

I was considering posting a handful of PS3 DEX machines too, but due to recent conversion methods for CEX models, I presume they've lost part of their value too, right?

    Cheers!

Please can you put up photos of it before you sell it, because there aren't too many out there at the moment of it, and I'd really like to see what it looks like!

    You're welcome.

I did say at a guess. If it is in excellent condition then it would be worth more ($300usd). I was basing my answer off the prices that I have seen the FAT TESTS go for recently. Un-boxed TOOLS go for $600usd ish and I have never seen a boxed one so I couldn't comment.

As far as I'm aware they still fetch a good price??

Which would you prefer?? A proper DEX PS3 or a converted retail DEX??? I know which one I would choose.

Shuma has one for sale at $500 + shipping but I think that is optimistic. They are less common then the normal Debug machines, but they do suffer with the same crappy optical drives as the slims and seem worse if using recordable medium. I picked up mine for 200 quid a few years ago, when they were a lot less common.

I still think you can expect to get £200 for this if it is in good condition and boxed, £250 at a push!

Hmmm, then Does USD $400 for a Phat PS3 DEX (used unit only) sounds reasonable? or is it over/under priced?
