I have some board games that use DVD with interactive menus and I want to use the PlayStation 2 to play them (I have some spare consoles; I don't have a DVD Player that small like the PlayStation 2 and I don't want to buy one). From your point of view, how much the laser lens are used when playing DVD compared to playing PlayStation 2 games? Thanks!
I would just get a small DVD player from a thrift store. I see them all the time. There’s really no reason to use a PS2 for playing DVDs, especially if laser usage is a concern.
