Hello Assembler

I have one of these units from Midway never opened - in good clean condition with stand, however it fails to read discs, any ideas on a rough price?

You should check whether it has a T14000 installed, as not every TOOL had one installed.
Such a TOOL would have one less free PCI slot (hence one less dummy PCI slot cover) than other TOOLs.

Is this the card you're talking about?

 

That's the PC card, as in the whole Linux half.
You don't have the DVDEmu/T14000.

 

Your TOOL might also be an unrefurbished set. There's no sticker near the PC CARD slot, so maybe it has the CXD9546R - which isn't supported by DEV9.IRX.
If so, it might interest those who are looking for one. For others, it would mean no support for the network adaptor.
