PlayStation 2 Trade Demos

So I was wondering if anybody on here might've been a former employee for GameStop from around 2007, and if you could provide me information about these so-called "Trade Demos"? I've been able to come by a couple of them for cheap on eBay, but for some I've found them to be considerably more expensive. Games like Persona 3, or anything produced by Atlus really sell for quite a lot. The three I own include Transformers, Guilty Gear Isuka, and .hack//Mutation. I ask because I've wanted to do a video about them for quite some time, but beyond sellers telling me that they were copies sent to reviewers before the official release, I haven't been able to find much else.

I see them as well... really tempted to get the P3 one, but wow, that is quite a bit of cash.

 

Yeah, apparently they weren't all that rare though, just uncommon. I'm pretty sure the ones that are up on eBay right now are selling for way too inflated a price.

 

never seen before...did they exist for PSX1 as well ? :O

 

From what I've found, yes there were at least a couple. I've seen some on eBay for Harvest Moon, Rugrats, and DOA. Apparently these all ranged from demos, videos, to full fledged games sometimes.
