Playstation 3 modified for IDU use only hackable?

Hey i was just curious if its possible as these units are locked & only for demenstation purposes only. They have a few demos on it but i cannot access system setting ect ect.

I know that there exists ways to take it out of demo mode but I'm not sure how exactly. What firmware is it on for starters?

 

It's easy enough to find on google
There's a list of codes to input, dependent on the firmware.
You pretty much hold down all controller one buttons at the same time, then input the 4 digit code to unlock out of demo mode.
You have to do it every time you turn it on though, unless you put custom firmware on it.
