playstation 3 red screen of death help

i was given a ps3 it has red screen of death i have tryed other hard drive but still the same.
any help would be great its a cech-2003a date code 9d

Flashrom is fubar. You need to replace it (you need to first backup the flash contents, then move it to a new chip).
After that you need to downgrade to a version you can run homebrew with and run the RSODfix as mentioned by
