When use the web browser on my PS3.. There are a few places on each page that some of the words are not spaced. For example: This is an exampleweb page. Why aren'tall the words properlyspaced..?Hmm, that'sweird. Anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks
Probably because this browser SUCKS ASS! sorry just had to say it but really it's a lousy browser.. if you really have to use it just try to live with the shortcomings.
At least the PS3 has a browser. Sometimes I wish my 360 had one so that I could use the net when the missus takes over the PC. Still, at least it's the better games machine. (Quickly runs off to hide from all the people I've just pissed off) Yakumo
Ah yes, while playing a game I want to check something online.. let's say a cheat.. Hmm boot other OS, wait 10 min +/- to boot, log in, start up firefox, check something... and then shutdown to lilo: boot game-os to go back to ps3 mode and continue playing.. wasted 30 min of my life :thumbsup: Always nice Linux in a VM with 256mb ram, and a pain in the ass procedure to boot it up/switch between OS. If you want to support something like this, atleast create a decent dualboot screen or something!!
Even the wii surfs the net better than the Ps3. I say this owning and having used both. *The Wii is the smoother experience out of the two, naturally memory limitations make the ps3 a wider offender but that's purely due to more power, not code efficiency.
I have too many computers of all shapes and sizes to ever use the PS3 browser. Except that one time... which we don't speak of.
It's a good browser. It's just not as good as the big PC browsers. Does the Wii browser support Flash?
The one that runs Youtube Flash is in a bit of a stiff position at the moment. Its popularity seems to have fallen across the board on embedded devices.
Apparently it runs Flash 8. PS3 runs Flash 9. I think for a free browser the PS3 one is not bad at all and Sony keeps improving it. We really are a spoiled generation. HTML 5 is the future, but Jobs is crazy not having Flash in the iPad.
Nintendo made their browser free again. There's no doubt that the better browser, from a coding standpoint, is the Opera browser, not the PS3 browser=/
how so? these days the games for both systems are pretty identical. and if you mean the console the 360 and ps3 both have their ups and downs.
