Cards”. There will be 8 designs in total, each pack comes
with 1 of 8 random designs.

The PlayStation®20th Anniversary Limited Edition Prepaid Cards will first be
available at the PlayStation® booth during the TOYSOUL 2014 exhibition from 19
to 21 Dec, 2014. After the exhibition, starting from 22 Dec, the cards will also
be sold at selected retail stores including Platinum shops and Sony Stores.

a bit late to the club. I moved awhile ago but forgot to update my contact info with some partners. went back to the old house today and saw this stack waiting for me since December. They are from 3 different region. US, UK, and JP. It's awesome that my parents still keep them.

 

How the hell were you able to get a JPN one. That must have been hilariously hard to get because it was a contest rather than them being in store shelves over there. That's really cool though, nevertheless

 

I honestly didn't know it was contest only.

 

Which one to open though... that's the real question.

 

Since I didn't know they were coming, I went ahead and bought one and opened it in December 2014. After getting these 3, I sold my opened one. Not sure which one to open yet

They were sent by SCE to their partners.

 

Well this is depressing. Okay, I've already got a PS4, but man, these things are pretty much impossible to get. I think they gave away two or three over here, and it seems a bunch of legitimately douchey douchebags won them who then proceeded to resell them. I guess that's the part that I hate so much about this - how limited they are. PlayStation's 20th anniversary is synonymous with "Reseller Heaven". Too bad, because those guys should be going straight to Hell. The prices on these things are insane. The only 20th anniversary thing I got was a theme for my Vita. Okay, and the theme for my PS4 but the Vita one has way better music, though, so screw using it on the PS4 when I have a Final Fantasy theme instead.

 

Totally agree with you on the scalpers issue. There are a lot of things I couldn't get due to scalpers bought them all before I had a chance to.

All the PS4s above weren't bought by me and I'm not a scalper or re-seller at all. They were sent to me without me even knowing about it (similar to how IGN got one, Gamespot got one, Joystiq got one....etc)

 

Freaking hell tichua, you sure you don't want to play the lottery while you're at it. =)
