Hey guys i was wondering if anyone here knew of ANYWHERE that sells cases for PS1 games. Many of my 120 strong collection are cracked etc and was wondering if there was a wee obscure shoppe somewhere that would have them left? ZAG
I'm in the same boat and those fat CD case are bugger to replace... I bought several A$5 ones at local EB and swapped the case although I had to spend hours to remove the stickers... :angry cheers
do you know where I can get those fat CD case, double CD case with four disc, and green and double DVD cases? cheers
Here's what a google search brought up: http://www.google.com/search?q=Buy+...ient=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official
cheers mate :smt023 found local company doing all sorts of CD/DVD packaging - still no green but that's ok...
I've been hunting for these for ages myself. The DC cases always were a pain but Sony sold replacement PS game cases in packs of 3 or 5 (can't remember which) and nowhere seems to have any left. I bought 3 copies of FIFA from Game today for 99p each just for the boxes. The only bits easy to replace are the front and back of the wide cases (like FF came in) as they're just half a regular CD case. For those unfamiliar with them they're about twice as deep as an album case and very slightly taller - less than 1cm, but enough to stop them fitting into a normal CD rack. If I find anywhere online I'll let you know but I've looked several times and come up a complete blank.
Green DVD cases are easy to get. PSX cases used to be available from Lik-Sang, I'm told. This company seem to do something relatively close to the PSX cases (see 4 way case), oh and also do green cases. Oh wait... try here
thanks for the link mate one thing I found was most green DVD case has different hue to the ones used for Xbox... :smt022 also no double green DVD case either... oh well...
*Sigh* Google is a wonderful thing, guys..... Notice how those auctions state single green dvd case let's search for "double green dvd case" hey presto! The ones from SVP seem pretty accurate in colour to the Xbox cases. Certainly wouldn't be noticeable from the front on a shelf. Although of course, you wouldn't be pirating games anyway, would you? Let alone printing counterfeit covers![/url]
There's a Dutch website, www.psxshop.nl , that sells 5 replacement cases for 6 euros. I think Wombat works there.
it's to replace those 2nd hand games I bought from EB. They put some heavy duty sticker which is bugger to remove... :angry thanks for the link although I was after those DVD case where the 2nd disc is mounted on the separate plate in the middle with the swing hinge... I found the local company does the same one bt only in black or white... contacted them but no plan to produce in green :smt022 cheers
