im very interested in the Debug/Universal playstation units (the green and black versions, not the blue pal one). i was wondering how much id be expected to pay for either of these units, whether theres anywhere you can get them other than ebay as that seems pretty hit and miss and finally if theres any differences other than the cosmetic ones between these two units? im talking about these: http://assembler.roarvgm.com/PSX/psx.html http://assembler.roarvgm.com/Unversal_PSX/unversal_psx.html thankies
a pair of ntsc psx's 1 blue 1 green went for about $45 fon eBay a few days ago - no leads or controllers just the base units
The green units were used for soak testing. They will occasionally produce errors when reading from the CD and memory cards, the point being to make sure these situations were handled correctly.
