any one recommend a good playstation emulator for windows 2000 or xp just wanted to play Galaxian 3D in my VGA HDTV
I've heard good things about PSXeven but never tried it. I'd recommend Pcsx if you want to play the Lunar games, since they don't work properly with epsxe
Get pSX 1.7, its the most accurate & user friendly psone emulator to date. If u like to set up a bazillion of different settings for each game and want better graphics then real psone get ePSXe. I prefer pSX. http://psxemulator.gazaxian.com/
I'll second this, since I've never used a PSX emulator that I've liked (ePSXe is the only thing that comes close). It frequently "stalls" though, and it's a pain in the ass to set it up for certain troublesome games, although you'll have that problem with any other emulator.
I've used epsx for my emulation needs, although certin games need certain drivers to run correctly, driver 2 comes to mind as such a title. Also, you'll need to trak down a bios file for each region, and may need a tool like daemon tools to launch iso files, unless you want to burn them to a cd anyways.... Ryan
