PlayStation Import Recommendations?

Can anbody suggest to me any good Japan-only PlayStation games? I just bought an NTSC-J PlayStation and I'd like to know if there are any must-have games for it that have been released only in Japan and not North America. I don't speak Japanese, so RPG's and the like would probably be out of the question.

Harmful Park, Gunners Heaven, and Ore No Ryori are pretty fun games.

 

this thread has a heavy bias towards 2D games, but hey....nothing wrong w/ that.

 

Well... technically speaking vib ribbon was not japanese only (I have the european version which is "better" since it's in english).

 

What was the name of that game where you used the dual shock to chop food.

 

Those all sound pretty cool; I didn't know there were so many 2d shooters for the PSX.

Is the Japanese version of Vib Ribbon playable for a non-Japanese speaker? I might have gotten the European version, but I don't have a PAL PSX.

Just for some variety, can anyone recommend any 3D Japan-only PSX games?

 

Gussun Paradise is my personal favorite for the system.

I had vib ribbon and eventually figured out how to play the game with a music CD. instructions on how to play are also easy to figure out.

 

Ah, so that's where that icon came from. By the way, I'm having difficulty finding screenshots (besides those little ones on the back of the case). Could you give me a link to some?
