As you know I love archiving crap. Today my local retro game shop lent me around 50 memory cards for ps2, which around 22 had data on them. I copied the data off of each of these and RAR'd it up. About 106mb of savegames shrinks down to 5mb when RAR'd. Also added two PS1 memory cards as a bonus.

I wish that someone upload NTSC-J save files for popular games on PS1 and PS2, sometimes they are extremely rare and not exist on gamefaqs for example.

Perhaps folks in Japan are doing a similar project? Or maybe I could start importing cards. I got a ram cart for Saturn that had full castlevania SOTN saves

There really is no need to be rude. This website is all about the preservation of game related soft- and hardware. If it's no use to you just move on. Someone sometime will be thankful for the upload.

Don't like the download, move on. You're not forced to download it.

Watch your tone, that's not how we treat others here.

I think it is great what the OP did, but I deleted some memory card saves. That was on some of my memory cards. Cause the saves were not mine, and I felt it would be in some kind of an invasion of privacy of sorts. So that is why I deleted them. But I like the idea about archiving saves :)

That is awesome! Thank you for doing that. Just a FYI one of these memory cards have GTA:SA saves with the hot coffee mod installed and I'm unaware of which ones it's on. I recall they were OEM though.

Here is volume 3, I managed to salvage a now defunct website's PSV file archive. (These are virtual memory cards on the PS3 for PS1 and PS2) I extracted them into raw files so they can be manipulated and archived as needed. The site they were from these were likely on actual cards first, but regardless they will work on the original systems if you know what you're doing. I also included the original PSV files in case someone has a PS3 and wants to mess with them. A lot of final fantasy, a lot of resident evil.

A lot of the Japanese save games are likely from the PurePure discs. I have all of the save game data from these loaded into some virtual memory cards in ePSXe and can provide them if wanted.

I can also provide some Japanese/NTSC/PAL save games (PS2 would be in .max format) for (not going to bother with my FF saves as I have 500+ hours on them and I probably have weird stuff going on with my items and the like) -

    Drag-on Dragoon*
    Drag-on Dragoon 2*
    Drakengard US/UK
    Drakengard 2 US/UK
Resident Evil - CODE: Veronica X PAL UK
Resident Evil - Gun Survivor 2 - CODE: Veronica
Clock Tower 3 - US/UK/JPN (including a save for the South Korean variant)
    DEMENTO (Original and CapKore re-release)
    Haunting Ground US/UK versions
Clock Tower ~ The First Fear ~
Clock Tower 2 JPN/US/PAL (UK, French and German variants) as well as save game data from the US localization prototype build.
Clock Tower GHOST HEAD (JPN and Asian release game data)
Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within
    Twilight Syndrome: Search
    Twilight Syndrome: Investigation
    Twilight Syndrome Special
    Twilight Syndrome: Resume
    Moonlight Syndrome
    Mizzurna Falls
    Garasu no Bara
    Glass Rose
    Chaos Legion JPN/UK
    Shadow Hearts UK
    Shadow of Memories UK
    Shadow of Destiny

*My Drag-on Dragoon saves MAY be on the external, not on my laptop.

If I could find my external hard drive sometime soon, I'd have about three times as long a list. If it's a horror game, then there are fairly high odds of me having it on PS1/PS2. I know some of those Japanese HUMAN Entertainment games are lacking in save games available online.

Some of the games I may also have some spare saves in which I've done some slight hacking (enabling disabled items and the like) specifically for the Clock Tower/Demento ones.

I just fixed about 17 PSPs for a local game shop. Inside a few of them they had those sony memory cards that are stupidly expensive. I copied them and decided to release them here. I started working on n64 memory cards as the Everdrive 64 allows it. I have to buy some or borrow them.

Edit: helps if I link it.
