PlayStation no sound on av port but works fine on rca

Board is in good condition, no water damage etc. No signs of capacitor problems or anything else obvious. Any suggestions?

 

If you have nothing yet maybe you can check the connection between the AV port's sound pins and the output (SPU). I presume both the RCA and the AV out stereo connections are interconnected at some point.

 

I figured out the problem, there was a small defect in the molding of the port causing the audio pins to not make contact. Not going to bother fixing it because the risk of cosmetic damage is rather high and it is an unusually nice looking debug unit
