Playstation phone charger? Use your PS2 to charge your phone. I think this is an off the wall promo rather than a prototype.

Nope there is a little switch on the side but all it does it pull the cord back in like a measuring tape.
Yes it is. I'm thinking this was a cheap mass produced PC item turned PS2 promo. Came with a big batch of original artwork and dev items so I'm not sure.
Thats kind of what I was thinking. I got something very similar to that at a computer show last year (without the PS logo though). I would say it's definitely not a prototype accessory, but it is a very cool collectable nonetheless.
