I recently acquired a PS3. Already had a PSP, so I'm familiar with what the PSN and PS Store are; however I haven't bought anything to date (need to get those prepaid cards). I do have some noob questions to which I think I know the answer, but can't seem to find them anywhere... Below are these questions with what I think the answer is (in brackets): 1-Are PSOne classics the same for PS3 and PSP? (ie. same size and same file(s)?) [I don't see why these would be different for each platform] 2-If I buy a PSOne classic on my PS3, can I also play it on my PSP? Or do I have to buy it for each platform I intend to play it? [I assume 1 purchase covers both PS3 and PSP] 3-If I "buy" a Plus subscription for 1 year, but don't renew it... do I get to keep the games that I bought with discount? What about the ones that were give for free only to Plus subscribers? [Logically I'd say you get to keep all games both bought and giveaways] I guess that's all for now.
WOW! That was fast!!! Thanks! I'm glad PSOne classics cover both consoles; I wouldn't want to pay twice each game. OTOH, I prefer to have the physical media... I guess I'll keep on buying the physical PS1 games and buy some PSOne classics every now and then, just so devs still get my support.
That's it. Plus is good if you want to test games (there's always free games) and used cloud backup saving. Check the latest Store update for info: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/05/22/playstation-store-update-240/
