[PlayStation] Toys R Us - "Test Drive" DEMO CDs

I was told they were used as kiosk demos in "Toys R Us" stores.

Does anybody have any other demos like these? I also know about Crash Team Racing demo in the black sleeve.

 

Yes, they were. I don't have any, but I remember a girl from my childhood, who got the Twisted Metal III disc from one (her parents were lax at times). I specifically remember that, because she was supposed to get me one, too (maybe there was a one per person limit). Anywho, those RP rated demos are usually gold mines with beta content (CTR, for example). I wonder if that Twisted Metal III demo is older than the regular one (SCUS-94378)? I'm asking because I've hacked the regular one before.

Also, what is that second disc from the left?

The games are Contender, Ape Escape, NFL GameDay '99, Twisted Metal III and Crash Bandicoot: Warped.

 

Cool! Did you find anything particular interesting in these demos?

 

Contender and Ape Escape discs are the same with normal demo discs.

NFL GameDay '99 and Twisted Metal III are Toys R Us exclusives but I don't know these games well to say something.

The disc inside Crash Bandicoot: Warped sleeve is the same with this disc.
