I can't find any info about this game but maybe I just did wrong search requests. The game is NTSC and the files on the disc are dated by May-June 1998. No "SCUS" file, only "PSX.EXE". The main screen in the game also says "Tribal". Was it released anywhere? I can boot the game to make some in-game screen shots.
Ooh, interesting... I did some quick searches and didn't find anything either. Pictures would be cool, yeah!
If my memory serves correctly, this is a little known PAL exclusive. The name of it escapes from me right now, I remember reading an review of this game, and playing it for a little time.
Interesting Who is developer of this mysterious game? Is this arcade fighter or some crazy future sport game (like Dead Ball Zone and Speedball 2100) ?
The game shows two logos - Midway and Radical Entertainment. I can upload a small video. It's about 20Mb and very short but enough to show the game.
Supposedly it was cancelled http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps/573905-tribal Radical only released on game in 1998 "ESPN X Games Pro Boarder" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radical_Entertainment#369_Interactive Prior to that they were releasing 2 or more games a year on PlayStation. So I guess it was cancelled because nobody liked the game, rather than them making any strategic decisions.
Here, I remember now. Name of the game is Breakneck http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjlZGx7q0p4 But I think that there is some confusion, because this game had to be released. I even read a review of it in a magazine (where it scored 5.5), and I even have an iso file on my computer (sorry, cant get anywhere near it till may/june). I remember that on magazine, this game also had a different name.
After some googling, i have found that this game was released as Blood Lines in Europe only... http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps/581218-blood-lines
