I grabbed a logo out of a junk psx I had around, compared to the prototype logo I found on a prototype debug psone.
I definitely like the darker color palette of the prototype logo much better. The plastic laminate of the original looks to be higher quality as well, though it might just be something to do with lighting.
Yea that is pretty neat. I like that the grey background is darker, black?. and The blue sections look to be a dark shade of green. Looks real nice
LOL! You do make me laugh, I swear sometimes you must browse these forums facing the opposite way to your monitor. Moving on... Any idea what date the proto debug was produced, just out of interest? Pretty interesting.
To be fair they aren't THAT different in the grand scheme of things. They're just palette swaps of each other, not something I see very significant when you see prototype logo changes from the Dolphin logo to the Gamecube Cube logo
In the grand scheme of things perhaps not. But you know as well as I do that this sort of thing is what can make the difference between run of the mill and worth a considerable amount more in terms of monetary value and historical value. Contemporary views be damned. One day today will be 70 years from now and this sort of thing will be viewed much the same way coins from 1930 are today. Minor variations are what make some coins unbelievably valuable. Clearly only time will tell if video games become a collectible taken as seriously as coins. Blah blah blah.
Oh fine, I'm just trying to help lol Edit: Oh, and ASSEMbler, I've done that before, if you pull it off you are officially named Rico Suave B|
