PlayStation2 Gundam AEUG Gold Pack problem

    A friend of mine got himself a PlayStation2 Gundam AEUG Gold Pack.

    His only game is Katamari Damacy (JAP version). He owns a RGB cable and told me his TV was NTSC compatible. So he tried to play this evening, but there was a problem.

    The whole screen is green. Like with those RGB protections when watching DVDs on the PS2. I know the latest PS2s (AEUG gold ltd edition included) use a new DVD firmware, can it be responsible for such a weird bug ?

    RGB has nothing to do with region.

    The green as far as I know only pertails to pal PS2 DVD through RGB.

    SOunds wierd/sicck.
