I have had this disk lying around for a while now and haven't really heard much of it anywhere.
Maybe because it came free with... chicken

    Picture0001.JPG

Is this disk at all rare? I would think by the nature of it (came with chicken) it might be somewhat scarce.

There were 3 games in the promotion (as can be seen written on the disk)
It also says it is disk 10 for 10th anniversary of Pokemon
I also believe it is the third disk since it is hard to find info on it and it contains the last 3rd of the pokedex (at the time)

I should also point out it is a mini-CD

EDIT: i found two links that describe the other 2 games

    Team Rocket Blast-off: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pokémon_Team_Rocket_Blast_Off
    Pokemon seek & find: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pokémon_Seek_&_Find

    EDIT: In-game pics

    Pokemon PBL 2.png
    Pokemon PBL 3.png

EDIT: Rip of game available on my site HERE

if it isn't rare, I think it still qualifies for obscure.
    Thanks for your time

Yes I am from the US, and it is fun for a mini-game.

Whoever thought Pokemon and chicken was a good pair, however, beats me.

I just figured out that the disc is the 3rd and final disk and that the 1 isn't a 1, it is a 10 for 10th anniversary of Pokemon.

Something even odder, after you beat level 3 on the disk, it boots up the game that starts by default on the next disk
(A.K.A. All 3 games are encoded on the disk)

The 3 games and 10th Anniversary Music Video are shockwave files and can just be booted in Internet Explorer @ any point

Sure, I don't see why not.
(I doubt it will decrease the value of the disc much (if it has any) and I don't plan to sell it anyway)

EDIT: It is now on my website (and will stay there until this forum dies down)

    LINK

To skip to a particular game/10th anniversary video

    1. Open file (not auto-play)
    2. Open folder named fscommand
    3. Scroll till you see SWF files that begins with pokemon (or reward for video)
    4. Select it and chose your web browser as the program to run it

Now that I think about it, why is this game so porley documented?

There are tons of people obbsesed with the series enough to have written more about it (like how long the promo lasted)
I have never even seen another disk, or even a photo of one, other then myown.

maybe because there are to many litle kids not understanding the 90s kids? and/or the guys/girls ever owning a disk like this are now... "grown-up" and dont want to remind them selves about pokemon. I need to find that pokedisk I had.

Well you are right. I don't think a case was provided with it. It was in paper or something, packaged with chicken...

I still can't get over that. Pokemon + chicken = profit??? Maybe for Perdue, but what did Nintendo get out of this? Did they just want 10th anniversary on everything?

There has been so much Pokemon stuff released, I think it is impossible to completely document everything.

Since you have an item that there is not much information on it, why don't you just submit the info to bulbapediathat's what the wiki there is for.

I found some info on your disk @ this site, but it doesn't seem to say much about its origins as it was someone who had tried to sell them
