Pokemon snap station Card Credit Reset Can it be done?

Anyone one remember those pokemon snap stations at block buster videos back in the ol hay days of the franchise? Welp, I'm looking for a way to reset the credit numbers on these so I can use them as much as I want on my cousins station. The two of us have tried to find some ways before, and came close to finding a way...and it didn't work. Any of you here think/know of a way to reset the credit counters or know a way to set up a "free play"/free print mode?

 

Those just used smart cards, right? You could find a smartcard reader/write and try seeing what's on the card to start.

 

Most of them would be used. I have one with $5 credit on it still but good luck getting me to part with it.

 

Already have some with credits as well. I've tried a smart card reader but for an odd reason, wont read it :/

Also, they can be protected. But often with the default password available in the datasheet =/
