    Hi everyone,

With my friend pckid, we're working on two projects, but we would like to begin by one to make the best for the community but also to meet the expectations of Retrogaming players.

This is a survey of the two projects. We'll show our progress on this post.

    - Project 1: Device Hardware that will plug into your console type (Nes, Master System, Sega Genesis, Nec Pc engine, SNES) for beginning.
To allow you to play in network (the Internet) with a friend and more in the case of "Bomberman, Mario Kart, Time Soldier, Be Ball" game or another Multi.

    - Project 2: a video game for Neogeo or Saturn for multiplayer. For 2, 3 or 4 players on Neo Geo and up to 6 on Saturn. For a local multiplayer game ultra-fun.

Thank you to vote. Feel free to post if you have comments

I'll be honest, the lag on the first project is insurmountable. Remember GaiKai? Except you lack the tens of millions of dollars
they spent. Bandwidth and latency issues abound.

I would suggest you make a mod that allows playing advance wars link games by email or SMS.

    Thanks for your advices.
We only want to send the gamepad data to others consoles but the lag is actually the main worry.

The lag is too much, people have tried it before. Only reason it worked on emulators is because you control the console too and can send data to keep them in sync.

Just sending controller data they will get out of sync further and further as you play longer.

Thanks. I search on web but don't find projects. This is certainly the main explication.

And for multiplayer game, are you interested by local multiplayer game on Saturn / NeoGeo ?
