Does anyone one know where i can get a pop n music controller for dc? The reason i ask is it is a pain trying to play it with a standard controller or a arcade stick, so im guessing the controller makes it easyer since its designed like the arcade.

The controller is nice, but just be warned that it's neither as big (about the size of a normal computer keyboard minus the numberpad) nor are the buttons as clicky as the arcade - in fact, the buttons are super-sensitive, which means you can't really rest your fingers on them while playing. However, with that said, this is the only way to play Pop'n Music, unless you're of the sort that could plunk down $400 for an Arcade Style Controller, in which case I hate you. ;-) The other alternative is to buy the PSX version of this controller, and using a PSX -> DC adaptor, but the PSX controllers tend to run about twice as much as the DC ones. But yeah, the controller really makes the games a blast.
. Hmm... On YJ PSX version sells at around 1000+ yen which is dirt cheap in anyone's book. I got DC one with all four disc off YJ. I'm not a big fan of this kind of game but missus is and that's why we have two sets Maracas - and still looking for another set or two - as well as Donkey Konga for GC with two Tarukonga controllers.... maybe I shoud get PSX version from YJ and sell on eBay for profit. cheers

I just recall a few months ago when I was thinking of getting Pop'n for the PS2 all the controllers being something like $99, which I thought was ridiculous. Of course, the Beatmania IIDX controllers sell for about that much on eBay, anyways.... Say, how much are those bad boys on Yahoo! Japan?
. unboxed for around 500-1300 yen in recent times. Boxed ones are bit more pricey at around 2000-3000 yen though. that's not my cup of tea nor missus and probably will never pick it up... besides we have already enough gadgets at living room for occasional party any way... and Virtual On versus setup with two of DC, LCD, TS but that's another story altogether... cheers
