Hey guys, insertUsername here! I created a new account because I forgot my password and email used.... Anyways, I have most of the parts needed for my portable XBox build! I just need 4 new fans, another XBox (broke mine by accident, but a new one is coming), some video stuff to support HDMI out, a 2.5" SATA HDD and a 3.5" PATA to SATA converter. I decided to softmod my XBox and include emulators and XBMC + UnleashX. I plan on making skins and a custom boot animation. The case will be 3D Printed, and I have a 7" screen and speakers. This will be a handheld (heavy, no battery). I will try to get 3 wireless controllers for friends to play, just I will be forced to have wired video out for that (7" screen is to small IMO for 4 people and wireless composite/HDMI out doesn't exist YET.) I will have a kickstand so you can play on a table without straining your arms. I will include an octopus plug as I don't want to mess with soldering AC current wires and I have a few things that need a wall outlet. There also will be a headphone jack! Tips? Suggestions? I am curious if this will have any market value or not, and if a different console would be more useful to see portabilized (for the hacker community.) I will have a build log! Wish me luck...
