after that i replyed saying it was ok , but i need a money order, got this:

    Hello Augusto Andrade,
Thanks for the response, the final price $250 is ok by me.I will like you to remove the advert from the website. You'll be recieving your payment as soon as possible through my associate who's in US. I'll instruct him to Issue out a Certified Cashier Check in your name the total amount he his oweing me on our last transaction which is closed at $3250, you'll receive it as soon as possible, Immediately you get this check i want you to take it to a cashing centre nearest to you, cash it and deduct your $250 and also deduct $100 for your runing around, the excess is for my shipper for shippment of {Mas Supernova with 1 stick }alongside with some other things I placed order for in care of my shipper and you'll wire the remaining balance to the shipping agent through Western Union Money Transfer for them to come for the Pick Up at your place 48hours after recieving the payment from you, without giving you any stress. They will use the funds to settle some customs problem and transport their selves down to your place with immediately effect. So i do hope i can have your trust about the excess which is meant for my shipper.Note that you are not going to give the shipper anything, i am going to responsible for that. Let me know if this is ok with you....So if its okay with you try to send me the following information for the process of the payment .

Scam Scam Scam Scam Scam Scam.

Someone tried the same thing on my dad, but on eBay...twice...on the same auction...both from Nigeria...

Ask him what a "MAS Supernova" is. I bet he can't tell you.

Don't reply. You might end up with your left kidney stolen.

I am extremely familiar with this scam.

The idea behind it is to get you to "deposit" a fraudulent check and before you let it clear you send him the item and the extra cash.
So in the end he not only gets your stuff, he gets paid for it.

My boss and I played most of the way through a scenario like this. We knew it was fake, but we wanted to eff with him. In the end we got a counterfeit check FedExed to us next day air from Nigeria. So atleast it cost the guy a few bucks.

Look in the April Fool's thread. There's a link to a very long-winded story where the guy totally fucks the scammer. Makes him pay like $2k in shipping and customs.

It's a total scam. The check is fake, and what's worse is that you end up getting busted for cashing a fake check, and in some places are responsible for covering the difference. Avoid this guy.

Plus you notice all that personal information he's asking you for, and that he also asked you to do a Western Union money transfer? All desgined to get at your bank account.

Tell this guy to pay by Paypal, then to go fuck himself.

Man tell him you want pure cash or you want the cash sent via western union! If you are recieving cash via western union the normal way you cannot be scammed!

The normal way i mean is the one where you go to your local store and pick up cash from there. A western union money transfer. Once you got the cash in hand your ok.

get him to send the cheque to a PO BOX.

Then mail him an empty box with a customs declaration value of $20,000 so he gets taxed an assload (don't provide return address either), and forwards the cheque and relevant emails to the local police to deal with it.

People like this are usually too dumb to hide their fingerprints so they should remain on the cheque and he should not only get thoroughly raped financially by the customs fees, but if they get caught they would also get thoroughly raped by a big guy called bubba in prison :D

That would teach them not to give you any shit ;)

I also received a scam mail last week from an eBay member trying to sell me a 3DO M2 on second chance offer for $1500 - I noticed now though that the dude who sent the 2nd chance offer shouldn't really have done so - as they wern't the original seller! So I got his ass banned, fucking leech trying to take my hard earned cash =/
