Possible SS Blazing Dragons prototype?

So I finally took some time to compare the retail version to my disc. I borrowed the US retail version from the internet somewhere, as I don't own it. I hope no one minds.

This here is a quick comparison of the number of files and size between the disc and the downloaded image. Disc to the left and image to the right:


Here is a screen of the root of the image file:


And here is the root of the disc:


There are very few differences. Most noticeably the abs.txt, bib.txt and cpy.txt is missing from my disc. These are the files that says "Abstracted by CRYSTAL DYNAMICS", "Bibliographiced by CRYSTAL DYNAMICS" and "(c) 1996 by CRYSTAL DYNAMICS".

Also the files "0" and "drag0.bin" is a tiny bit smaller on my disc than the image file. All the folder contain the exact same files and are the same size.

So this is probably not that different from the completed version, right? :/

 

Why not boot up the game or look in the

voice/
system/

folders and check for file size differences.

By the looks of it, it does look like some form of beta copy.

Is there any debug modes or something? I don't know anything about this game or anything...

It looks like the file size difference is very very low.

 

As I said, all the folders contain the same files and are the same size
