Is that an SFC Super Gameboy? If so I got one yesterday as well. Very cheap on ebay... mine was incredibly dusty, though. Took a fair bit of cleaning to get it working right first time.

I've bought a Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2 motherboard and 500W PSU now that I've had problems with my two 1155 Z68 choices, which means my new PC will have nowhere near the planned performance, but should also be nowhere near the cost so meh. So long as I can play most games in 720p with medium or maxed settings I'm happy.

I'll probably finish it off with an i3 3.06Ghz + HT, 4-8Gb of RAM, a single HDD (with 64mb cache though) a GTX 560 and Windows 7 Home Premium x86-64.

 

People sell all sorts of junk on Trademe, I only want the server, and for $20 I think that that's pretty reasonable.

It's a working server.

Mine was very clean and I got the super gameboy and wario land for 12.50 shipped from Japan.

 

Saturn - Street Fighter Zero 2 Sample - Factory sealed or it was when I took the picture.



I love Capcom Saturn sample discs because they're always based upon early code! This Street Fighter Zero 2 is no exception.

You can play the whole game as any character but no one has an ending, straight to the Game Over screen.
The intro timing is off (seems to be like that in all Capcom samples)
The intro is missing many graphical effects
Chu-Li's stage has slow down
Key Config is spelt KET CONFIG
The game can hang for 10 seconds before it will load anything after winning or loosing a round.
The end of round stats always say you've won 2 matches

there's loads more stuff as well but I'm saving them for a feature on my site.

Dirt 3 arrived today from Amazon Japan. the game isn't released in Japan yet (What's new?) so I was expecting an Asian version to arrive. I was very surprised to find a UK copy of the game though :nod:



It works just fine on my Japanese set up so no worries :thumbsup:

Need to get DiRT 3 as i spent most Saturdays for a few months playing DiRT 2 with my father and bro-in-law.

 

Dirt 3 kicks arse but I think it's a game best played with the wheel. I don't have one becuase they cost the same as 4 new 360 games!!!!! So I actually play using the D-pad rather than the analogue. I find that way too sensitive. The D-pad option is far easier to control but needs more work in the fine adjustments of cornering.

What's the difference between this and a regular one as from your pic cosmetically they're identical.

 

actually theres differences just from the picture, no colors on faceplate, start button color

Majesco game gears have better screens (higher refresh rate - less blur) and generally tend to have less screen problems due to capacitor failure

 

Not got one yet but possibly going to get a Wii tomorrow if i even see a cheap PS3 then i might just go for that instead.

 

Sorry, I never noticed that the colours were missing, I just assumed it was the camera flash whiting them out. As for the start button, they're all blue or at least here in the UK they are.

Well i got a Wii along with mario kart + wheel today, have already downloaded the browser and the iplayer, just need to get a few more games.

 

Just got Earthworm Jim 2 for MD for £1 from a charity shop.
