Bought a loose copy of Donkey Kong 64 that came with a free "demo" and a "Japanese game".
Japanese game was Pilot Wings, Demo was Ocarina of Time "not for resale" cart :)

Almost but not quite....the bargain that got away!

I won this on Sunday morning: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....m=320243115997&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=011

However, since then the person selling it off has not replied to my emails and requests for information on picking it up. Kiff lives locally and was willing to collect it for me.

Nothing...so I suspect the seller was not happy with the £56 end price. This is one of those frustrating eBay moments.

    Slip, slipping away!

Oh, the one from Hamburg in Germany?

I got a LCD Projector (Sharp XG-NV51XE) for free...found it in the garbage room of our company, took it to my office and tested it...well the LAMP Icon was lightened...so i thought, fuck a new Lamp costs a fortune...well i won one on ebay for around 70 euros. Now, who gets a really good Projector with New Lamp for 70 euros, huh? :D

2x VGA, 1x S-Video, Chinch Stuff, RS-232 Interface (control and presentation streamed from PC and other cool options) and so on :)

also got a free Zip100 Parallel Port drive..

Got a copy of Atari Classics Evolved which isn't too exciting in itself but it is signed on the front cover by Al Alcorn. :)

My seller finally did get in-touch, but it all got rather complicated. A) Not located at the address provided B) He wasn't the owner (but was, not, was! He couldn't make his mind up on this one) C) The mobile number he gave me to arrange collection rang out, never went to answering machine. D) He rarely replied to emails regarding the situation / item.

So, I have the dilemma of whether I am going to leave it and get negative feedback or proceed and put Kiff out further than I already have.

My instincts tell me the seller will blame the situation on me rather than accept he has pissed around.

Bah! Negative feedback ahoy I suspect!

Did eBay UK not get the "sellers can no longer give negative feedback to buyers" thing yet?
Eric started a topic about that and some other eBay changes a while ago, the update is also coming to eBay Germany in May.

Edit again: First the XBOX Kiosk now a full size Ridge Racer cab?! Your wife WILL kill you one day ;)

I am not sure whether that has hit us yet. I'll have a look at the new rules.

As for the RR cab... she is potentially the most long suffering wife of any of the AG members, perhaps with the exception of one or two I shall not mention (but they'll know who they are).

Even I am now looking at the slowly assembling cab and thinking 'Holy shit!'

It arrived in a few pieces, not all together in one large unit so I think I am a bit shell shocked!

This might become an item I repair and sell on actually lol :eek:h:

Resigned to this one slipping away! Never mind, with the RR cab to contend with I have more than enough on my plate at the moment.

I went to the "may fair" (a fundraiser by a church in my town) this morning, which had a white-elephant sale. Anyway, for about 15 dollars I bought:

Neon Genesis Evangelion TV series + both movies (on 4 discs, its most likely a bootleg [but a pretty professional looking one ^_^]

Factory sealed NFL 2k for the dreamcast

Factory sealed 688(I) hunter killer for windows 95

Factory sealed Tiger Woods PGA tour golf for the Handspring Visor (what ever the hell that is)

    The official guidebook to Riven

Need for speed most wanted black edition exclusive dvd

And a ton of DOS rpgs:

    Kings Quest IV,
    Loom,
The Bards Tale: Tales of the unknown,
the bards tale II: the destiny knight,
the bards tale III: the thief of fate,
    the bards tale construction set,
might and magic IV: clouds of xeen,
might and magic V: dark side of xeen,
    stonekeep,
    ultima underworld: the stygian abyss,
ultima underworld II: labyrinth of worlds,
    dragon wars,
    wasteland,
    and wizardry gold.

Everything is in great condition (except loom, it seems to have dried blood on) and most of the RPGS came in a box called The ultimate RPG archive.
