Here is a pic of my cabinet.
Thinking of switching to a Super Neo 29 soon and give this one to my mom, who is hooked on Puzzle Bobble.

Here's some pics of a cab I built last year. I'm working on another one right now with a Quasimoto Quasicon control panel.

Wow Punch, that is pretty neat with that Aquos turned on end...I'd never have thought to do that, lol.

Where did you land those sticks? I've never seen those before.

    They are Sigma sticks.

That's called having a rotating monitor for horizontal and vertical positions.

    My machines:

Chase HQ Dedicated (UK Electrocoin cab)

Generic with Tecmo World Cup (IIRC) - yeah its the wrong Marquee!

    Some more shots here.

Incidentally, the generic I'm doing up as my main machine, as its all front accessible, including screen rotation. Take a look:

And yes, I'm changing the god awful buttons! The whole control panel is changing.

Yeah... it's just a very versatile mount... cost quite a bit too. :(
I like having it, but a CRT monitor would obviously have better quality. It's still nice b/c it takes up no space and I can swing it on it's side whenever.

Get ready to shell out if you want the original. The board alone costs like 200,000 yen.

Yeah, moving a CRT to go vertically sounds like such a pain in the ass, and I'm sure the casing on most TV sets aren't really designed for that (unless you have some ancient thing made out of wood ^_^).

Actually, is it bad to place CRTs vertically when they're not meant to be, or is it OK if they have built-in degaussers? I know putting them upside-down can fudge them up, and taking them to the other side of the equator can SERIOUSLY fudge them up!

Depends on the TV. Some can take it in stride, and some have serious troubles. Most arcade monitors are designed for it (that way they can be sold for both horizontal and vertical games).

At the moment I have a Sega Astro City and a Neo Geo MV-U4. Sadly the Neo had it's screen broken in a recent trip and has been out of commission for a while. The Astro City looks great except for some yellowing and some rewiring that needs to be done. I'm supposed to get 2 more Astro Citys but the newer models in a few weeks so I hope that goes through. My current collection of games are mainly Neo Geo, Aero Fighters, and a Street Fighter 2 board. Anyways here is a pic.
