It's Christmas day, you rush down stairs to find a load of gifts for you, meanwhile noticing your snot-nosed sibling only got coal hahah Post pictures of your video game related gifts or whatever below (I'll post mine soon :3 )
Local game store had a sale today. Got there late, so I left with the scraps. Paid $7 for all this, though. Should have a few more games under the tree tomorrow though... EDIT; Oh yeah, also waiting for this to ship! I guess its a video game pick-up?
I have the distinct feeling that there's two Intellivisions under the tree for me (because I bought them).
So far, Light FX Yoda and Poe Dameron figures for Disney Infinity 3.0. Still have to exchange with my closest friend and there's usually games involved. I got him a few 3.0 figures and stuff from Rooster Teeth/FunHaus.
Nothing game related per se, but I got micro USB OTG and micro HDMI adapters so that I can use my tablet and phones as emulation machines. Wait, there are still dialup users on the board? I stopped using a 56k modem 13 years ago.
Yakuza 5 and Persona 4 (PSN, as my PS2 is broke) Speeds are seriously at 56K levels at the moment too, Yakuza 5 is taking literal days. 1.8gb out of 23gb downloaded in just under a day......ouch Would of paid out of the ass for a limited physical release of yakuza 5 for this reason, but oh well what's a couple of days after waiting years for a western release...just glad 0 is getting a proper release on PS4
No video game pickups for me this Holiday, but it was nice seeing what everyone else got. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for opening the thread.
Not exactly Christmas (but I did buy it on Christmas) but my PS2/PS to DC adapter came in the mail. So I can use a keyboard without trying another one off eBay.
Got Monster World 4 the, official, english version (ripped from Wii VC) on a cart from a russian repro guy. Cart was $17, shipping was $3. Now I only need to cut up my pal mega drive so the cart fits Also I'll probably replace the sticker with a glossy one. I specifically insisted on him sending me the cart with no front sticker, as I wanted to put my own design on it. But, it turned out the adhesive printer paper I bought was matte >_<
My brother gave me a Darth Vader 360 controller. Other than that the presents sucked. Just don't tell the relatives I said that.
