Digital Macro image of a NES Max. This is my MacbookPro 15" Click to enlarge - I didn't want to post an oversized image and I didn't want to scale it down because the detail of the macro image is why I use it. Very nice textures in the plastic and paint.
mmm....i change my desktop quite a bit... it was originally orange, so i modified it slightly and changed it to blue
I don't think that's Kate Winslet's ship - the hull line looks wrong & one of the tugs has an american flag on it. I'm guessing that it's the Lusitania?
damm your good, yes it is the Cunard Lusitania, sunk off the Irish coast in 1915, it's long been considered one of the turning points for America to enter the first world war. Its still somewhat shrouded in mystery as to the contents which the lusitania was carrying, or if the one torpedo indeed sank the ship.... The image would have been taken around or shortly before 1915, as the ship is in its war time colors (blacked out hull, black funnels) to disguise it from a passenger vessel. Cunard eventually merged/bought out the White Star Line which owned the olympic class of vessels (titanic, olympic, britannic) Ryan
Here's my latest desktop picture. Haven't done one for well over a year or so. I took the picture whilst driving from San Francisco to Las Vegas on holiday earlier this year. I've also added some handy widgets (as you can probably see, more rain is forecast!)
