I am beginning to work on a project where I will make a single power box that will split out the power to each of my retro systems. Now I know that they all run on different voltage/amperage settings and that they have hardware to lower the voltage if its higher than expected at the expense of heat.

Now I am looking to run the cartridge based systems off a single block. I'm looking to add in LED and other bits to make it look better so I'm trying to find the maximum voltage/amperage that I can use without causing too much heat that it will damage the systems.

I have a 12v 3amp and I'm curious if that is too much, I've heard of others using 10v 1.5/2amp especially when running the more power hungry setups like the genesis/32x setup
