This is a part of some of the goodies in my small collection. I don't smoke, however Sega Ashtrays are gangster as hell. My computer has a nice warm blanket and the M2 likes to kick it with it's PowerPC relatives.DOA2 GD-R Beta kicks my ass.
Howcome you have 3 360's standing next to each other on the shelf? Trying to double the Japanese sales-figures or do you have an actual use for them?
I'm like the nerd kinda gangster Hey everyone, The 360's are actually all XDK 360's, minus the middle one, the middle one is the empty one that sat in the shelf at E3 when the Powermac G5's where hauling the games. As for the Powermac, it's a Dual 2.7 G5 / 4gb PC3200 / Radeon X800 256GDDR3 / 750GB internal, I work with lots of the video. Can anyone tell me how to run comercial games on the XDK 360's btw?
True enough, but where'd you get them? Now I want one. I have a (small) family of PowerPC's as well; iMac G3, Mac Mini, Xbox 360, but no M2, sadly. There were a few other arcade systems besides the M2 that were PowerPC based, I think. Some Namco systems, if I'm correct. By the way, you said they ran Xbox 360 games at E3 on a PowerMac. How exactly is that possible? Did they make a version of the Xbox 360 OS that was capable of running on a Mac, or did they just port small sections of the games? Also, I thought that at the time of its release, there were no video cards that matched the 360's. Was there some sort of modified card in that PowerMac as well?
Strange, but true Exactly my toughts, however I saw it with my own eyes as well as these pictures of others I know who got away with shots of em. I got to keep a dummy from the cage through a hook up and some XDK's for general hobby programming and collecting. http://images.google.com/imgres?img...mages?q=Powermac+XBOX&svnum=10&hl=en&lr=&sa=G I got pictures of the Dummy here : The Front, Notice the USB door and side "XBOX360" logo http://photothru.com/photo_filedbi/A4/FC/40/A4FC40/viewable/A4FC40_1321B5FAE55_1.jpg http://photothru.com/photo_filedbi/A4/FC/40/A4FC40/viewable/A4FC40_1321B5FAE55_2.jpg The back of The Dummy http://photothru.com/photo_filedbi/A4/FC/40/A4FC40/viewable/A4FC40_1321B5FAE55_3.jpg Through the gutless box. a simple power cable makes the loading circle shine http://photothru.com/photo_filedbi/A4/FC/40/A4FC40/viewable/A4FC40_1321B5FAE55_4.jpg
HEY, I JUST NOTICED ON THE BACK THEY DO IN FACT SAY DEMO KIT......... What's the deal when they do in fact have the XDK dashboard??
I thought they were demo kits, usually you will see the demo kits are at trade shows(E3)There basically the same as a 360 Debug Unit. Here is link with some pics of a debug unit. http://www.dailygame.net/news/archives/004963.php Are the Demo Kits you have come equipped with 60gb hdd.
I always wondered why they werent black Hey man, thanks for the infos, I was soooo mega pissed when I first got these and they where white like the retail systems and not black like the ones at the offices. 2 of em are loaded with a Beta of Dead Or Alive 4,"Congratulations on Xenon Launch" scrolling through the arena in the wrestling ring and no moving mouths when they speak ect ect ect. Yo, anyone know if the DTL10000 PS's are still out and about? I want one MEGA BAD!
The alpha XeDKs were G5s with custom boot code and a new graphics card. A Launch Team mate of mine has three dead ones that he uses as a coffee table Stone
