Pre-2005 PSP game development setup

    Hello! I was wondering if there was any info on what a typical setup was like for developers when they were working on PSP games during 2004. (firmwares, horrible glitches, etc) :D

    You had to throw in an ipl/pre-ipl blob labeled kbooti.bin to the devkit each time you wanted to boot it up, there was also one for updating, the updates were stored in encrypted ".arc" files.

    There was no shell (vsh) until 1.0.2 (retail 1.00 is really 1.0.3) and the vsh did not have the same sounds as the retail vsh, in fact the shell on 1.0.2 was hidden and it actually ran a sample called baloon (stored in ballon.prx), you had to forcefully flash a slightly modified 1.0.2 to get to the vsh (which back then wasn't possible)
