Hey, just a quick question. I'm traveling to Japan for the second time this year in November, but sadly for me, this trip will conflict with the release of Pokemon. So I figure that I should just preorder it and pick it up while I'm over there. (As well as whatever sweet sweet preorder bonus there will be.) But then it occurred to me, I don't know how to preorder over there. Anyone have any suggestions?

You will be able to pre-order at any Pokémon Center or Pokémon Store with the pick-up option (if you don't have a residential address). They will give you a pre-order paper which you'll have to bring back with you when you're picking it up on the day of release.
If you do have a residential address, you can also pay in advance and get it shipped to you for free on the day of release.

Other things to note: They offer both downloadable versions and boxed retail versions. All of this is only going to run on Japanese 3DS systems.

Thanks for the info! I had a suspicion that that would be the case, but I just wanted to confirm. Thanks you again
