I've read this guide but it seems to be very specific towards museums rather than merely storing them safely. How would I go about storing, say, this for many years to come? And if anyone has tips on preserving cardboard game cases, that'd be appreciated too <3
As unfortunate as it may sound, I can only offer simple instructions for storing the figure, like keep it out of sunlight and in something relatively sturdy. For cardboard boxes, I'd suggest something like this http://www.nes-city.com/SNES_Box_Protectors/p1146919_7462074.aspx Of course, Genesis games came in nice plastic boxes anyway...
Thanks, that cardboard box guide looks good. And I'll just follow those instructions for the figure unless someone else posts a more in-depth guide.
For what it's worth, those are a bit more expensive than the source I usually buy my own box protectors from. They seem to have a pretty decent selection, too--Never done me wrong. http://www.videogameboxprotectors.com/ Try these on for size. EDIT: Seems their prices have risen slightly... But they're still cheaper! Good if you're buying them in bulk, at least.
