    Modded? Modded for what? A local store near me had one for $350, all in box, never been opened. They no longer have it otherwise I'd be in more debt than I am now.

    440 sounds a little too much.

    You try searching a few online import shops? You should be able to find it for cheaper.

    try buygame2.com, play-asia.com or ncsx.com

    The Q can be moded to become a region free dvd player. In terms of gamecube, The unit (like normal units) can have a region mod switch installed to switch between japan and usa region.

    The $440 was from NCSX. Play-Asia is sold out, and Lik-Sang's are like $480, plus shipping from over-seas (NCSX is in the States).

    I took a gander on eBay, not much, but I think I may go that route.

    i got my modded one for around £220 (with a wavebird and a few games)..... so $400 for a NEW modded one sounds reasonable
