Hi guys and gals would like to get a price check on my DECR-1000A and DECR-1400.

    The DECR-1000A has 3.41 peek/poke firmware

The DECR-1400 has 3.15(I think. Will have to reboot and check)

The DECR-1400 also has the original Brown Sony box.

I remember I was selling the 1000A loose for $300-350 each and a loose 1400 for $450-500 on here back in 2013-2014. Check my sale thread if you would like some pricing references.

Going by latest prices, A 1000A goes for around £80/150 and a DECR goes between £100/£150. I got a DECHJ for £101 recently.

Above is true, but the DECR 1400 is worth a lot more, especially in the original Sony box
It's the most reliable out of the PS3 dev hardware in my experience

DECHX is a TEST, what the OP asking are all TOOLS. 1000A and 1400A are TOOL.

I think the prices for these will go back up over time, a lot. These machines are the last "true" consoles, with mostly dedicated hardware as opposed to being cheap PC derivatives. The development units for the seventh generation systems and earlier are in my opinion much more interesting than anything after them is and will ever be.

Of all the development kits, the custom machines are in my mind always, always more interesting and collectible than the retail-derived units, regardless of robustness or any other metric. The Sophia will always be more desirable than the Cartdev, the Ultra64 board more than the Partner64, the 1000A more than the 1400, etc.

Even in the seventh generation, the Xbox360 is a much more "standard" machine than the PS3, like in the sixth generation the PS2 is way, way more custom than the XBox.

As an example, the Sony T15K is one the most advanced piece of custom development hardware ever made.

Just my two cents of course...
