I just found this thing, how much do you guys think it might be worth in 2014? I know it is pretty rare and well regarded but it is hard to put a price tag on it. It came with the parellel cable pictured and a bunch of diskettes :p And yes, it works.
( Note: not necessarily going to sell it, likely going to keep it for now )

One sold untested as faulty for £25 fairly recently on eBay, albeit without the cable. A normal Wild Card SMS3201 requiring a battery replacement sold before that for $10 WITH the replacement battery AND a cheap soldering iron! However, a boxed normal one sold for $120 with a USB floppy drive.

Basically, they're not worth as much now the EverDrive etc. are out. I doubt anyone would actually want to use one... it's probably more for copier collectors - and they'd want it boxed.

It is a bit what I figured out, that they were made somewhat obsolete by everdrives etc and that this had an impact on their value. Still, hard to put a price since so few of em pop up, and from what I read it seems they are still considered the best of backup machines.
I think they can be modified to use a usb drive or something instead of the floppy.
